Dr. Wilejto obtained her medical degree from the University of Toronto and completed her postgraduate training in Pediatrics at the University of Calgary. Following residency, she returned to Toronto for a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at the Hospital for Sick Children followed by a Master of Science in Community Health: Health Practitioner Teacher Education (HPTE). She joined the faculty in the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at the Children’s Hospital as an Assistant professor in 2018.
Dr. Wilejto’s clinical interests are in solid tumors, histiocytic disorders and cancer survivorship. Her scholarly work has focused primarily on post-graduate medical education, with a particular interest in curriculum planning and design, competency building and e-learning.
