Dr. Jacqueline Ogilvie is a Developmental Pediatrician at Children’s Hospital, LHSC and Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at Western University. She completed her Subspecialty training in Developmental Paediatrics at the University of Alberta, in Edmonton following her medical training at the University of Ottawa and Paediatric Residency at Western University.
Her clinical interests include early identification and intervention of preschool children with developmental delays, assessment and follow up of children with genetic disorders and the rehabilitation of children following acquired brain injury. She has training in both the Neuromotor and Behavioural aspects of Developmental Paediatrics. Dr. Ogilvie is the faculty co-lead for the Social Pediatrics Curriculum Committee and physician lead for the Pediatric Acquired Brain Injury Community Outreach Program (PABICOP). She is an executive member of the Developmental Pediatrics Section of the Canadian Pediatrics Society as well as a member of PONDA – Physicians of Ontario Neurodevelopmental Advocacy. Developmental Paediatrics combines her passion for understanding the science of early brain development, social determinants of health and patient advocacy. She has a Master’s degree in Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics from McMaster University, where she acquired training in qualitative research methodology.
