Dr. Elise Lu is a Pediatric Hospitalist in the Clinical Teaching Unit at the Children’s Hospital and Assistant Professor at Western University.
She received her undergraduate degrees from the University of Rochester in 2007, then completed the Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) at Washington University in St Louis, receiving her MD and PhD in 2015. She completed pediatric residency at the University of Pittsburgh in 2018 and was the inaugural fellow in pediatric hospital medicine at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, graduating in 2020. She is board certified in both general pediatrics and pediatric hospital medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics.
She was an assistant professor of pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh until 2023, when she moved to London to join the division of General Academic Pediatrics as an Assistant Professor. During fellowship, Dr Lu developed a research interest in the diagnosis and management of growth faltering in infants and toddlers, and is excited to continue that work at LHSC through her outpatient clinic and clinical research.
