Dr. Janys Lim, DPPS, completed her fellowship training in Developmental Pediatrics from McMaster University in 2018. Since then, she has been working with the Autism Research Center of Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital in clinical trials and interventional studies for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities. She is also a visiting consultant for the Section of Developmental Pediatrics in the Department of Pediatrics of Cardinal Santos Medical Center in the Philippines, contributing to resident education and curriculum development. She is one of the founders of DevPedsVillage, an online community dedicated to providing parenting resources for those in low to middle income countries. Her global health endeavors include being part of the Emergency Quarantine Facilities team that built emergency structures in Asia to augment hospital facilities during the current pandemic, a project that has been shortlisted for the Health Category at the World Architecture Festival 2021. She joins the LHSC community looking forward to expanding the access and services of the Division of Developmental Pediatrics, creating joint access and care with the Department of Psychiatry, and continuing her work in research and clinical trials for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities.
