Dr. Natalya Karp joined the Department of Paediatrics and the Medical Genetics Program of SouthWestern Ontario in 2014. She is a Medical Geneticist at the London Health Science Centre and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Western University. She obtained her medical degree from Astana Medical University (formerly known as Kazakh State Medical Academy) in Kazakhstan (former Soviet Union) in 1998. She completed her residency in Medical Genetics in Toronto in 2014. She holds a Master of Science in Human Genetics from McGill University and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Dr. Karp’s clinical and research interests are in rare genetic disorders, inborn errors of metabolism, neurofibromatosis and tuberous sclerosis.
