Dr. Brar completed residency as chief resident at Michigan State University. In 2018, he went on to complete a fellowship in Paediatric Critical Care Medicine at The University of Western Ontario where he was introduced to the use of point of care ultrasound for inpatient medicine. He worked as a Paediatric intensivist and a Paediatric Hospitalist while spending months training under Dr. Robert Arntfield and the Western Sono group. Currently, Dr. Brar is an assistant professor at the University of Western Ontario, general academic paediatrician, the lead for Inpatient POCUS Services as well as the Difficult Access Service at Children's Hospital in London Ontario and a staff educator at the annual Canadian Resuscitative Ultrasound Course.
