Eye Drop Instructions
Follow these steps in order to properly administer eye drops
- 1. Wash hands before and after putting in eye drops
- 2. Pull the lower eyelid down
- 3. Put the drops into the space between the lower eyelid and the eyeball as shown in this picture:
- 4. Do not let the bottle/dropper touch your eye or the area around it
- 5. Close your eye, wipe away any drops or tears with Kleenex
- 6. Wipe from inside to outside of eye
