Biography
Dr. Maruncic received his Doctors of Medicine Degree at Western University in 1981. He completed his fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Western University in 1986.Dr. Maruncic has had a Western University Appointment in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at London Health Sciences Centre since l986.
Dr. Maruncic has a busy clinical OB/GYN practice at London Health Sciences Centre and continuingly involved in teaching responsibilities of undergraduate medical students and residents at Western University. His expertise is in a broad range of procedures including forceps, vaginal breech and twin deliveries, and gynaecologic vaginal surgeries including vaginal hysterectomies and vaginal prolapse repairs.
Dr. Maruncic’s research interests include hormone issues relating to contraception and menopause. He has undertaken several speaking engagements on these subjects and sat on Canadian Advisory Boards for Menopause and Contraception.
