IIRF 2024 Keynote Speaker
The keynote speaker for this year will be Dr. Eleanor Fish. Dr. Fish is a member of the Toronto General Hospital Research Institute, and a professor for the Department of Immunology at the University of Toronto. Dr. Fish's research examines the signalling pathways underlying cytokines and chemokines, specifically interferons and CCR5, as well as the mechanisms that underly autoimmune disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis and MS. Her research has also examined the use of broad-spectrum antivirals for pandemics/epidemics such as SARS, Ebola, COVID and influenza. With her significant awards and publications, we look forward to hosting Dr. Fish and hearing more about her leading research in the fields of molecular immunology and host-pathogen interaction.
