Application Process
2026-2027 Academic Year Application Timeline:
- Application Submission: May 1, 2024 to August 31, 2024.
- Applications are reviewed and shortlisted by the end of September 2024.
- Interviews will be completed by the end of November 2024.
- Only applicants selected for an interview are notified.
- On occasion, applicants may be considered for fellowship outside of the academic year based on availability.
Eligibility
- Fellowship candidates must have completed an accredited radiology training program and be either certified or eligible for certification, by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Diagnostic Imaging, The American Board of Radiology, or certified with equivalent qualifications from another country.
- The candidate must also be proficient in both written and spoken English.
- Proof of qualifications must be provided by all applicants.
Department of Medical Imaging Specific Requirements:
Letter of Intent
- You must include the name of the requested fellowship/s within the Personal Statement. Please prioritize your first, second and third choice.
- Applicants interested in Vascular and Interventional Imaging Fellowship can apply to this program only.
- Otherwise, you can apply for up to 3 fellowship programs.
Reference Letters
- Radiology fellowship programs require 3 reference letters.
- Radiology fellowship programs require one reference letter from your Program Director.
- Nuclear Imaging fellowship requires 2 reference letters.
- Reference letters can be addressed to Fellowship Selection Committee.
- Once an application form is completed, your referees will automatically receive emails requesting references.
- Once your referee submits their letter of reference, both the applicant and referee will get a confirmation email.
- An application is not considered complete until all references letters have been received by the program. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that all reference letters are received by the program.
- Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
