Inclement Weather Process
If Western University closes due to inclement weather and cancels all classes AND SERVICES, this means that the Schulich Dental Clinics WILL BE CLOSED. In the event of the University closing and services being cancelled, there will be public communication broadcast in the local media by approx. 6:30 a.m. on the morning of the day of closing. The information will also be shared by social media. The Schulich Dentistry voicemail messages will be updated and changed to reflect the closure of clinics.
If you have an appointment and the University is closed and services are cancelled, please watch for media reports to confirm closure of the Dental Clinics. It is important to note that if the University cancels all services, all buildings will be locked and there will be no access to the clinics. It is important that you check the media or call the clinic to confirm cancelation of Schulich Dentistry.
If Western University cancels classes and services remain open, this means that the Schulich Dental clinics WILL REMAIN OPEN. This communication will be broadcast in the local media by approx. 6:30 a.m. the day of the cancellation of classes. If you are unable to attend your appointment please contact the clinic or your student immediately by leaving them a voicemail at their extension (519-661-2111 ext. XXXXX).
