Four New Staff Join Schulich Dentistry

Claudia Acosta – Registered Dental Hygienist
Claudia Acosta joined the clinics team as a part-time hygienist in January. Claudia has spent much of her career in Dentistry, with the last five as a Registered Dental Hygienist in London. We look forward to Claudia’s contributions to our Schulich Hygiene program.
Amanda Parnell – Certified Dental Assistant
Dhuha Abdul-Hameed – Certified Dental Assistant
Amanda Parnell and Dhuha Abdul-Hameed will be joining the Clinics team as full-time Dental Assistants, effective Tuesday, February 18th. Amanda joins Western after more than 15 years in private practice and she brings diverse experience from across dentistry. Dhuha is transitioning to the Clinics team after several years supporting the Continuing Dental Education team and our PLA course in a part-time capacity; she is already a strong contributor to Schulich Dentistry and we look forward to having her with us in a full-time capacity.
Sara Lumley – Administrative Assistant, Paediatric Clinic
Sara Lumley will be joining the Clinics administrative team as a full-time administrative assistant, effective February 19th. Sara joins us from St. Joseph’s Healthcare where she worked as an administrator supporting community health programs. Sara will be taking on the role previously held by Danielle Lapthorne, and will provide support to the Paediatric Clinic.
