CTCR Welcomes New Member
Today, we welcome Douglas Hoover, PhD. MCCPM as a member of the Centre for Translational Cancer Research.Doug is an assistant professor in the Department of Oncology, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, and Department of Medical Biophysics, Western University. Doug is also a medical physicist who specializes in brachytherapy and external beam radiation therapy at the London Regional Cancer Program. London Health Sciences Centre.
Doug's research specializes in prostate and lung cancer disease sites. He was recently awarded an LHSC Academic Realignment Initiative Award in the Clinician Scientist category for "Development and clinical integration of artificial intelligence tools to improve quality and efficiency in prostate brachytherapy".
