Congratulations to Frank Prato, PhD for 45 years of medical imaging ingenuity. Dr. Prato has dedicated his career to the advancement of medical imaging and is one of this year's longest serving recipients. Dr. Prato is a visionary who was instrumental in acquiring Canada's first whole body PET/MRI for Lawson and St.Joseph's Hospital. He was also the main influencer in bringing the first MRI machine into Canada in 1982.Member receives Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Grant

Dr. Ana Lohmann has been awarded $400K from the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation to support her research as part of a larger phase 3 clinical trial. Dr. Lohmann's research focuses on the use of liquid biopsy, a blood test that looks for biomarkers that indicate the presence of cancer cells in the body.Dr. Ji-Hyun Jang joins the Centre for Translational Cancer Research
