Congratulations to Dr. David Edgell and his team for their recognition as one of the top 100 downloaded Cell and Molecular Biology papers for Scientific Reports in 2022. Their paper on using microalgae to make receptor-binding domains for COVID-19 diagnostics was listed as #43. This highlights the growing interest in synthetic biology work and shows how microalgae are a viable orthogonal protein production system of the future.
Congratulations to Dr. Cathy Faulds who is being recognized at the 24th Annual Salute to Laudable Londoners. This charitable event honours people from our community who have dedicated their time to charitable causes.
