AMOSO John Sangster Research Award for Excellence
Congratulations to Dr. Alp Sener who has been selected as the Inaugural recipient for the John Sangster Research Award for Excellence in the amount of $5,000 for his Innovation Fund project #INN18-013 “The Effect of Sodium Thiosulfate Organ Preservation in Human Donation after Cardiac Death Renal Transplantation”.
This award was established to commemorate the former Chair of the AMOSO Governing Committee, Dr. John F. Sangster who passed away in early 2022. The John Sangster Research Award for Excellence is to recognize exceptional research projects as well as outstanding performance of the principle investigator in terms of meeting all timelines and reporting of Innovation Fund requirements. The Principal Investigator receiving this award can use the funding for further Knowledge Translation, Professional Career Development and Capacity Building.
