SOHIP
Southwestern Ontario Health Innovation Partnership (SOHIP) is a connected community of health companies and partners. Funded through a $10-million investment from the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), the program aims to create and promote the growth of health startups in Southern Ontario. SOHIP is opening pathways to support the strong pipeline of healthtech companies that is emerging in southwestern Ontario by connecting them with services, support for healthtech product development and access to specialized research labs and clinical trial spaces.
Under SOHIP, Velocity, Western University, and MIX are working together to provide health innovators with access to critical infrastructure, lab equipment, startup/scaleup support services, funding, and connections to healthcare clinicians and workers.
