3MT 2020

An 80,000-word PhD thesis would take about nine hours to present. You only have three minutes. Are you up for the challenge?

3MT (Three Minute Thesis) is a research communication competition. Graduate students have three minutes or less to present their research and its impact to a panel of non-specialist judges and peers. The exercise develops academic, presentation and research communication skills.

Sixteen graduate trainees at Schulich Medicine & Dentistry took up the three-minute challenge earlier this month, participating in the Schulich Medicine & Dentistry/Faculty of Science Heat.

Congratulations to the participants. Thank you for sharing your presentations with the Western community.
