ImPaKT Summit showcases research strengths
New insights. New treatments. Experts gathered on campus this month to discuss the role the Imaging Pathogens for Knowledge Translation (ImPaKT) Facility will play in future research. “We are going to be at the forefront of infectious disease research, developing innovative solutions,” said Eric Arts, PhD.
The morning event included updates from David Heinrichs, PhD, Paula Foster, PhD, and Jessica Prodger, PhD. Thomas J. Hope, PhD, from the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Northwestern University, delivered the plenary talk.
The event concluded with a panel discussion on HIV eradication and the need for prevention and cure.
