Western Organoid Workshop 2023
Western Organoid Workshop (W.O.W.) 2023
Do you work with 3D spheroid or organoid cultures in your research and what to share your work with others? If so, then we would like to invite you to attend the Western Organoid Workshop (W.O.W.). Our goal is to bring together scientists from across Southwestern Ontario who utilize 3D organoid models in their research. We want to highlight the innovative work being done with these models and to help foster collaborations within this growing community.
We have assembled an exciting line-up of speakers, composed of faculty and trainees, from across the region. There will be two sessions, one focused on the development of patient-derived organoid models of cancer and a second session on novel organoid models to study cell development and disease. We are also pleased to welcome Dr. James Wells (Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center) as our keynote speakers who will present his exciting work using human iPSC-derived organoids.
Date: Thursday, November 2, 2023
Time: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
Location: University Community Centre (UCC), McKellar Theatre
