Western Organoid Workshop
Inaugural Western Organoid Workshop (W.O.W.)
Do you work with 3D spheroid or organoid cultures in your research? Or are planning to soon? If so, then we (Drs. Chris Pin, Van Lu and Trevor Shepherd) would like to invite you to the inaugural Western Organoid Workshop (W.O.W.). Our goal is to bring together scientists in the London area who utilize 3D organoid models in their research. We want to highlight the innovative work being done with these models and to help foster collaborations within this growing community.
We have assembled an exciting line-up of speakers, composed of faculty and trainees, from across the London research community. There will be two sessions, one focused on novel organoid models to study cell development and disease, and a second session on the development of patient-derived organoid models of cancer. We are also pleased to welcome Dr. Dr. Stephane Angers (University of Toronto) and Dr. Faiyaz Notta (University of Toronto) as our keynote speakers who will present their recent work using organoid models.
Date: Thursday, November 3, 2022
Time: 9:00 am – 4:30 pm
Location: University Community Centre (UCC), Room: McKellar Room
Cost: Free, but registration required
