Dr. Heather MacKenzie MD, FRCP(C)

Bio Sketch
Dr. MacKenzie completed a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education and General Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences at Queen’s University (2007). She then went on to complete her degree in Medicine at the University of Toronto (2011), and her residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at Western University (2016). Most recently, Dr. MacKenzie completed a Master of Science degree in Epidemiology at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health (2018). She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of PM&R at Western University.
Dr. MacKenzie is a consultant physiatrist in the Spinal Cord Injury and Brain Injury Rehabilitation Programs at Parkwood Institute.
Research
Dr. MacKenzie’s research focuses on the development of prognostic models and predicting outcome after mild traumatic brain injury and concussion.
