Cytopathology CME Symposium
We had a very successful Cytopathology CME Symposium entitled Advances in the Practice of Cytopathology featuring “The Bedard Lectureship” on Saturday, October 26, 2019, organized by the Cytopathology Division at LHSC and the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Western University.
This event was attended by cytotechnologists, pathologists, pathology residents and cytotechnology students. Dr. Sara Monaco from UPMC (Pittsburgh, PA) delivered the keynote presentation, "Minimally Invasive Biopsies of Lung and Mediastinum in the Era of Personalized Medicine". Local and regional speakers also delivered presentations, and there was open sharing of information and techniques related to the practice of cytopathology. We want to thank all the speakers and organizers for the time and effort you put into making this Cytopathology CME event so successful.
