Training
Western is committed to being part of the solution in creating a more inclusive place where we all feel a strong sense of belonging.
The Office of Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI), in consultation with Student Experience, Human Resources, the Human Rights Office, employee group representatives, and the Office of Indigenous Initiatives, has developed an e-learning module called Building Inclusivity through Anti-Racism.
The module is self-paced and can be completed in approximately 45 minutes. To successfully complete the module, employees need 80% or higher on a quiz within OWL. The quiz can be re-taken as many times as needed. After successful completion of the quiz, participants can obtain a certificate confirming their completion of the e-learning module by clicking on "Certification" on the left side menu, and training records will be updated within My Human Resources.
Optional Training and Certificate Programs
The Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion hosts a variety of online modules, workshops and certificates that are available to the Western Community.
