London Pathology Associates Holiday Party
The London Pathology Associates Holiday Reception took place December 12 at Windermere Manor. The party was very well attended and everyone had a great time. The food and desserts were delicious and plentiful. Staff Awards of Excellence were presented by Dr. Ettler and Dr. Paul Plantinga, chief resident, presented the Dr. M.E. Kirk Teaching Award.
The Staff Awards of Excellence are presented in recognition of exceptional mission focus, initiative, co-operation with others, positive attitude and personal character. This year’s awards were presented to Susan McRae (Cytology) and Margaret Moroz (Histology).
The Dr. M.E. Kirk Teaching Award is given annually by the residents to a pathologist whom they feel best exemplifies dedication, excellence, availability, approachability, knowledge and mentorship in resident education. This year the award was presented to Dr. Cady Zeman-Pocrnich. Dr. Rebecca Jacques received the award on behalf of Dr. Zeman-Pocrnich.
