WPA Careers in Pathology Event
In collaboration with the Science Student Council (SSC), the Western Pathology Association hosted a “Careers in Pathology Workshop” to inform 3rd and 4th year Pathology undergraduate students about different pathways that they can take with their degree in Pathology. Faculty members spanning many areas of research, medical students, and Pathologist’s Assistant students shared their experiences, described their day-to-day lives, and gave recommendations to the students. In attendance were 6 staff and faculty members from the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and 20 undergraduate students.
