Dr. Scott completed her general surgery residency training at Queen’s University, followed by a pediatric surgery fellowship at the University of British Columbia. After completing her pediatric fellowship, Dr. Scott joined the staff at Kingston General Hospital. In 1992, Dr. Scott took a position in the community working at Sarnia General Hospital. In 1999, Dr. Scott joined the Department of Surgery, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University as an assistant professor. In 2009, Dr. Scott was promoted to associate professor in the Department of Paediatrics and Division of Paediatric Surgery and was appointed Chair/Chief of Paediatric Surgery. Dr. Scott holds appointments at the London Health Sciences Centre and St. Joseph’s Health Care London as a paediatric general surgeon and adult breast surgeon.
