MEDICI contributes to WHO Guidelines on Surgical Site Infection
MEDICI are contributors to WHO Guidelines on Surgical Site Infection. Surgical site infections impact millions of patients every year; 11 percent of patients undergoing surgery contract an infection in low and middle income countries. The Guidelines aim to prevent surgical site infection in all countries based on medical evidence and taking into account cost and resource implications, patient values and preferences.
