$5M secured to fund REACH Network
Drs. Cheng & Martin of the MEDICI Centre are co-applicants on successful CIHR Operating Grant led by PI Dr. Andrea Tricco of St. Michael’s Hospital, Toronto. The grant titled “Strategy for Patient-Oriented Research – Guidelines and Systematic Reviews,” will fund the SPOR REACH Network, which will develop a rapid learning health system to ensure patients receive the right intervention at the right time, with the ultimate goal of improving the health of Canadians through a strengthened and efficient Canadian healthcare system. The Network of 177 members consists of patients, healthcare providers, knowledge users, policy-makers, and researchers at all healthcare system levels, across Canada.
