Poster Presentation Guidelines and Program

Poster Guidelines

When preparing your poster for presentation, please adhere to the following guidelines to ensure compatibility with the available resources:

  1. Poster Board Dimensions: The boards are approximately 8 feet wide (2.4 m) by 4 feet high (1.2 m). Two posters fit on each board, attached with velco. You will be given your velco when you check in for your session. You are not to print a poster the full width of the board.
  2. Maximum Poster Size: The maximum size for your poster should not exceed 48 inches in both width and height. This means that the largest dimensions your poster should have are 48 inches wide by 48 inches high (4 feet wide, 4 feet high).
  3. Consider Layout and Design: Utilize the given space effectively to create an engaging and visually appealing poster. Make sure the content is easily readable from a reasonable viewing distance, and include clear headings, sections, and visuals to organize your information.
  4. Mounting: Use Velcro fasteners to attach your poster to the board. This ensures a secure and damage-free attachment method that allows for easy removal and rearrangement.

Please note that the cost of printing a poster will be up the individual presenting.
