Mitacs Research projects typically have strict spending eligibility with a heavy emphasis on undergraduate, graduate or PhD salaries with a small portion of the award to be spent on other research related expenses. There are three more commonly awarded programs here at Schulich Medicine & Dentisty:Accelerate
This is a paid internship undergraduate and graduate program to support a student. Unless the award outlines additional funding for non-salary expenses, only salaries for the specific student are eligible.Elevate
This is a postdoctoral fellowship program. Unless the award outlines additional funding for non-salary expenses, only salaries for the specific student are eligible.Globalink
