Who should attend? Researchers, policy makers, patients, clinicians and students/residents from all disciplines related to PHC

The Trillium Primary Health Care Research Day provides an opportunity to share your primary health care relevant research in a welcoming and constructive atmosphere.

Keynote Address: Dr. Robert Reid will discuss Creating a Research-enabled Learning Health System which will include a panel with clinician (TBD), patient (TBD), and policy (Anne Hayes, MOHLTC) voices.

Distinguished Lecture: Dr. Sharon Johnston will speak about Primary healthcare performance reporting in the information age: Empowering citizens, patients, and consumers.

Workshops:

1) Patient and Family Storytelling in Primary Health Care Research, with patient co-facilitation and

2) Integrating Rigorous Evaluation into Learning Health Systems in Ontario facilitated by Drs. Merrick Zwarenstein and Jen Rayner

As well there will be approximately 50 poster and oral presentations on recent/ongoing research in the Primary Health Care field.
