Accommodation Arrangements

Please review the Distributed Education Travel & Accommodation Policy before completing the request form.

Accommodation requests must be submitted at least ninety (90) days prior to the commencement of your community rotation to ensure availability.

Accommodation may be provided in an apartment or house, or in someone's home as a "bed and breakfast" arrangement, located in close proximity to the community hospitals. Food is not traditionally provided, unless available through the bed and breakfast arrangement. Internet with high-speed connectivity will be accessible.

All accommodations are shared with other medical learners and meet the established standards that address both learner safety and comfort. A "no pet" policy is in affect. Please be respectful of your roommates as many medical learners have allergies.

While we will try to accommodate your needs to the best of our ability, there are no guarantees. Should our housing not fully meet your needs, you may make alternative arrangements at your own cost.

Accommodation is a shared responsibility. Everyone involved, including the learner, should cooperate in the process, exchange relevant information and explore accommodation arrangements collaboratively.
