Dr. Nicholas  Chow

Dr. Nicholas Chow

Biography: Nicholas earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Adelaide, where he gained regional and metropolitan experience across South Australia, including an extended rotation with the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Unit at the Adelaide Dental Hospital. He subsequently returned to Ontario to join the hospital-based General Practice Residency (GPR) at Western University. Nicholas is excited to be continuing at Western as a member of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery team, where he will be completing his residency and specialization. Beyond the hospital, Nicholas is an ex-ski instructor and competitive tennis player who can be found on the ski hill or tennis court, or at live music events and cycling around town.

Dr. Andra Sterea

Biography: Originally from Romania, Andra moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Masters in Physiology & Biophysics with focus on cancer research. She then went on to obtain her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Dalhousie University where she continued doing research with the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery team. Andra then joined the General Practice Residency (GPR) program at Western University in 2022 and was subsequently accepted to the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Program in 2023.

Dr. David Charrette

Biography: David is a London local and completed his BMSc at Western University with an Honours Specialization in Physiology. He completed his dentistry degree (BDS) at University College Cork in Cork, Ireland where he was awarded the Gold Medal for highest overall achievement. He then returned to Western University to further his expertise through a General Practice Residency (GPR), after which he accepted a position as an Adjunct Clinical Professor in Oral Surgery at Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry and worked in private practice. David then pursued an Internship in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery through Mount Sinai Hospitals and Jacobi Medical Center in New York, New York. After a year in Manhattan he was delighted to return home to join the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Western University to complete his residency training.

Dr. Ji Hyun Han

Biography: Ji Hyun completed both her BSc and Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degrees with honours at the University of Manitoba, where she was awarded the Dr. John W. Clay Medal and Prize for achieving the highest overall average. Subsequently, she pursued further training through the General Practice Residency (GPR) at the University of Western Ontario. Following the completion of the GPR, she moved back to Winnipeg, MB to pursue her passion in academia and served as an Adjunct Clinical Professor at the University of Manitoba College of Dentistry while working in the public health sector. After a year, she relocated back to London, Ontario where she joined the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery team at Western University to complete her residency training.

Dr. Natasha Holder

Dr. Natasha Holder

Biography: Natasha was born and raised in Winnipeg, where she first completed her undergraduate degree (BSc) in Microbiology at the University of Manitoba. She then went on to earn her dentistry degree (DMD) and subsequent General Practice Residency (GPR) at the University of Manitoba and Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. She then made the move to Ontario and joined the Western OMFS team in 2019, and is part of the Schulich Medicine (MD) class of 2024. When not at the hospital, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two-year-old son.
