Fundraising: Recent donations
In the past few weeks, two special gifts were made in honour of a mentor and a family member.
Dr. John Spears, MD’57, made a gift of $51,023 to the Gunton Chair in honour of his mentor, Dr. Ramsay Gunton.
Dr. Shirley Colthart’s, MD’42, daughter made a monthly donation to support the Shirley Colthart Fund for Neurodegenerative Research. Dr. Colthart was a geriatric psychiatrist, and her daughter knows that this is an area that her mother would want to see continued funding.
