Living Well @ Western
Living Well @ Western provides wellness opportunities to Western’s employees, including postdoctoral scholars and graduate students. A new service is being launched, Bringing Living Well to You, that brings a ‘coach’ to your worksite to provide a 10-15 minute wellness activity. Examples include stretching, progressive relaxation, mindful breathing, and low-intensity strengthening. All activities can be performed in ‘work apparel’ and in the comfort of your workspace.
Taking the time to stretch and move is important for both body and mind. If your unit, lab, or informal group would like to take advantage of this free service, please contact Adam Craig, Living Well @ Western’s Wellness Coordinator. In addition to this service, Living Well offers lunch-time (12:20-12:50) activity classes. For more information, and to view the weekly schedule, please visit the Health and Wellness website.
