Western University announces Western Staff International Exchange Program
Recently, Western University announced its participation in the 2014-15 Leave for Change (L4C) Program, an international volunteerism program for staff. Western is pleased to announce the launch of another exciting development opportunity for staff:
The Western Staff International Exchange Program (WSIEP)
Through this program, Western will sponsor successful staff applicants to go abroad to participate in global job-shadowing experiences with one of our partner institutions. Opportunities will range from two to six weeks in duration depending on the availability of staff and the host institution.
WSIEP is open to all regular full-time staff (main campus) with at least one year of full-time service.
Each WSIEP approved participant will be supported to a maximum of $5,000 for travel, accommodation and other costs.
Staff can apply to job shadow at an approved partner institution that they may already have contacts with - or we will work to match staff with an available host institution. For a list of partner institutions click here.
Find additional information on this exciting opportunity here.
APPLY by July 31, 2014 for travel between November 1, 2014 - April 30, 2015 by submitting your proposal electronically.
