Alzheimer’s advocate Victor Garber to headline Leaders in Innovation Dinner
Victor Garber, one of the most respected and talented actors of his generation, will be the featured guest at the 2014 Leaders in Innovation Dinner on November 20.
Having watched both his parents struggle with Alzheimer’s disease, Garber is on a mission to raise awareness about the disease, its devastating impact and the need for a cure. During the dinner, he will present a keynote address and take part in an engaging armchair discussion about research, his personal advocacy for Alzheimer's disease, and his life as an actor. Peter Mansbridge, LLD'08, Chief Correspondent of CBC News, and Anchor of The National will serve as the Dinner MC.
The evening will also include a celebration of Robarts Research Institute’s research innovations in neurological disorders and the presentation of the 2014 J. Allyn Taylor International Prize in Medicine to Virginia M.-Y. Lee, PhD, and John Q. Trojanowski, MD, PhD.
Tickets are $250 per person or $2,000 for a table of eight. You can purchase your tickets online.
