Bake sales, book sales and 80's dances…oh my! The Schulich Medicine & Dentistry Breast for Success team has ramped up their fundraising efforts during the past few weeks holding a charity coffee break, a bake sale, a book sale, an online silent auction and an 80's themed dance complete with neon, big hair and leg warmers.
In total, the coffee break, bake sale, book sale and online silent auction raised more than $2000! The team extends a big thank you to everyone across the School who has helped support them and their various fundraising events during the past few weeks.
Team members Nancy Annett and Brenda Davis organized a totally radical 80's dance which was held March 22 in St. Thomas. A total of $3010 was raised and has been put toward the team's fundraising goal. Congratulations to these two team members for organizing a great dance, good times were had by all who attended.
With just ten days to go, the team is in third place and has exceeded their $23,000 fundraising goal! Team organizer Dinah Frank is ranked second over-all in fundraising. For more information, or to donate to the team, click here.
