Cognitive Neurology Fellowship for MD/Physicians

The Cognitive Neurology Division at the Schulich School of Medicine in London, ON Canada offers a 2 year fellowship position in cognitive and behavioural neurology. The fellowship is designed to train clinician-researchers in behavioural and cognitive neurology. Dr. Elizabeth Finger and Dr. Stephen Pasternak serve as the primary supervisors, with additional research co-supervisors from the Western University faculty based on the applicant's research interests. Fellows will also have opportunities to gain clinical training through geriatric medicine, movement disorder and geriatric psychiatry clinics.

Research conducted at Western University spans clinical trials in neurodegenerative diseases, mechanisms of social cognition, movement disorders, and advanced MRI and PET imaging methods at Robarts Research Institute and Lawson Health Research Institute. Research imaging facilities include 3T and 7T MRI scanners and a hybrid PET/MRI scanner.

Candidates must have completed of residency training in neurology, psychiatry or geriatric medicine and have a license to practice medicine in Canada.
