General

  • PGME CBME Team to provide various check-ins with launching programs
  • Programs to decide CBME Ground Rules
  • Consultation: CBME Director to review launch plan presentation

Elentra

  • Pilot EPAs in Elentra if pilot program is decided upon
    • Provide PGME CBME Team feedback on pilot program EPAs
  • PGME CBME Team to build and publish EPA forms based on the CV translations
    • Recieve Royal College files and run through audit
    • Assessment plans reviews for all EPAs
    • Programs to review EPA forms for any corrections

Curriculum Plan

  • Schedule meeting: EPA curriculum & assessment mapping
    • Submit EPA curriculum & assessment map
  • Complete EPA curriculum & assessment map for resident audience
  • Revise rotation schedule for CBD

Assessment Overview

  • Meeting (optional): Review and/or update non-EPA assessments
    • PGME CBME Team to recieve all non-EPA assessments from programs (ITARs, STACER, etc.)
    • Orphan competencies identified and presented to program

Competence Committees

  • Create drafts of important documents (see Competence Committee Materials)
  • Conduct mock meetings
  • CC and RPC protocol and workflow established
  • Establish role of Academic Advisors
  • Determine documentation needed for reviewers
  • Determine communication to residents pre- and post- meetings
  • Request to observe another CC meeting (optional)

Faculty & Resident Development

  • PGME CBME Team to provide resident development and orientation plans
    • We have a template side deck that you can use for your resident orientation
    • Please direct your residents to use the following modules: Introduction to CBD and Introduction to Elentra. Note that you will still need to communicate any program-specific details like your ground rules, expectations for off-service rotations and non-EPA assessments, and any other important details about Competence Committee meetings.
