In Memoriam: Dr. Arthur Kidd
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dr. Arthur (Art) Kidd, who passed away on April 24, 2023 at the age of 75.
Dr. Kidd was one of Windsor-Essex’s most prominent physicians for over 40 years, and also Windsor’s first endocrinologist and a winner of the Fredrick G. Banting award for his service in helping improve the lives of his patients with diabetes.
Dr. Kidd had a remarkable career as a physician – he held many positions throughout his career, including the director of Learning, Equity and Wellness for Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry Windsor Campus.
An exceptional leader, colleague and friend – Dr. Kidd’s influence on local health care will live on.
