Announcement: Dr. Sumit Agrawal reappointed as Interim Chair, Department of Otolaryngology
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Sumit Agrawal has been re-appointed to the Department of Otolaryngology as:
- Interim Chair (Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University);
- Interim Physician Executive (London Health Sciences Centre); and
- Interim Chief (St. Joseph’s Health Care London).
The reappointment will be effective July 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023.
Dr. Agrawal is a Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at Schulich Medicine & Dentistry. His clinical and research interests include neurotology and skull base surgery, hearing loss, cochlear implants, lateral skull base surgery, facial nerve disorders, vestibular disorders, surgical simulation, and middle-ear biomechanics.
During this period of interim leadership, Dr. Agrawal looks forward to working collaboratively to best support clinical and departmental operations and to ensure the optimal functioning of the department.
