Devlin receives Western’s highest honour for staff achievement
By Communications
Jennifer Devlin isn’t afraid of a challenge, whether it’s in her role as manager in two Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry departments or fighting to end homelessness in the region.
Devlin has received Western University’s highest staff honour – the Western Award of Excellence – for her open and innovative approach to leadership, as recognized by her nominators. Devlin is manager of administration and finance for the departments of anatomy and cell biology and medical biophysics at Schulich Medicine & Dentistry.
In addition to her inspirational work at the School, Devlin also supports community causes in her “off-hours.”
As Jenn “The Electrocutioner” Devlin, she recently participated in Youth Opportunities Unlimited’s Fight to End Homelessness, raising money to support London youth living with homelessness.
The 2022 Western honourees, nominated by faculty, staff, students and alumni, are being celebrated for their exemplary service, creativity and innovation, and include seven staff members and one team.
