2012-13 Innovation Fund Competition Results Announced

Congratulations to Dr. Muriel Brackstone, Division of General Surgery, and to Dr. Mark MacLeod, Division of Orthopaedic Surgery, whose research projects have been approved and will receive funding by the Academic Medical Organization of Southwestern Ontario (AMOSO).

Dr. Brackstone's project, "Creating a Tumour Biobank" will receive approximately $330,000 for two years and Dr. MacLeod's project, "An Innovative Approach to Patient Safety using Wireless Infection Control Management System" will receive approximately $140,000 also for two years.

There will be a 2013-14 competition, with a local deadline of October 31, 2013.
