Dr. Robert Zhong Department of Surgery Research Day
General Information
The Department of Surgery Research Day is held annually in mid-late June and was renamed the Dr. Robert Zhong Department of Surgery Research Day, in honour of Dr. Robert Zhong, a brilliant scientist and colleague who passed away in London, Ontario on September 8, 2006.
The event hosts world-class guest speakers and provides a sought-after opportunity for trainees, faculty, and guest-speakers to share exciting new developments that span disciplines and roles in our Academic Health Science Centre.
Research Day 2025
Our next Dr. Robert Zhong Department of Surgery Research Day will be held on June 25, 2025, at The Darryl J. King Student Life Centre at King's University College. The Poster Competition will be returning to the use of physical posters and a call for abstracts will open in the early spring.
More information will be posted at a later date.
