The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine would like to wish Linda Jackson-Boeters well in her new role as a Medical Laboratory Technologist in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at University Hospital effective October 4, 2024. This new role aligns with Linda’s training as an MLT and reflects her desire to have an impact on patient care.

During her 29-year tenure at Western University of which 25 years were in PaLM, Linda became a respected leader and resource within oral pathology and histology who made contributions to countless research projects. She mentored innumerable students from various departments across Schulich Medicine & Dentistry and was the quintessential "lab mom" to so many. Her caring and supportive nature on the fourth floor of DSB and HSA will be sincerely missed.

As our Occupational Health & Safety Steward, Linda ensured we met compliance standards and played a crucial role in developing Return to Campus protocols throughout the pandemic. For her dedicated service and stellar contributions, Linda was awarded a Schulich Continuous Excellence Award as an Individual in 2011 and as a member of a Team in 2022.

We wish Linda success as she embarks on this new chapter in her professional career.
