Congratulations to Rober Abdo
Congratulations to Rober Abdo, PhD Candidate in Dr. Qi Zhang and Dr. Shawn Li’s lab, on his prestigious Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) Research Training Award. With funding from the Canadian Cancer Society and the Brain Canada Foundation, Rober will investigate the spatial transcriptomic and proteomic landscapes of breast cancer brain metastasis.The research team will use preclinical models to further investigate promising therapeutic targets, which, if successful, will lead to a new understanding of how some breast cancers spread to the brain.
