Science Rendezvous 2024 – WPA PaLM booth
On Saturday May 11, the WPA represented the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Science Rendezvous. Ginnian Leung and Meggie Vo were leading the pathology booth called “Disease Detectives” alongside several other volunteers (Sumaiyah Wasif, Rose Samadi, Briana Battick, and Mitchell Pallister). At the booth, three activities were available: A urine analysis to test for diabetes, spot the difference looking at physiological and pathological tissue sections, and test your viral load where pH strips were used as indicators for viral load.
