Lion Dental Research Award 2024
Congratulations to Dr. Luis Limo, PhD Candidate, for being honored with the prestigious Lion Dental Research Award for 2024 by the International Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research at the IADR General Session and Exhibition in New Orleans. The Lion Dental Research Award is intended to support improvements in oral health sciences through the stimulation of junior researchers by recognition of outstanding and innovative research in basic dental science for the improvement of public dental health; and recognition of applied research achievements for improvement and development of oral care products for the prevention of oral diseases. Dr. Limo is supervised by Dr. Noha A. Gomaa, Dr. Saverio Stranges, and Dr. Kathryn Nicholson and received funding support for his oral presentation from the Network for Canadian Oral Health Research (NCOHR).
